Uganda 2000
Through an invitation from the Caledonian Society of Uganda, the band were treated to a brilliant trip to Kampala, Uganda.The main gig was on the ocassion of St. Andrews night 2000 in the Sheraton Hotel. Ceilidh, rock, blues was pumped out of the speakers until 2 in the morning. Then onto "Al's Bar" - the must visit place for wannabe rock stars.
The band was then wined and dined up at a sugar plantation some four hours north of Kampala. An acoustic session ended with Deryck dance a sword dance over Sugar cane. Nice singing Ashley!
